What Gabby & Min Wants:
We value good writing in all genres. We have a special appreciation for writing that delves into darker themes and provides insight. We prefer stories that focus on character development over plot-driven ones. We appreciate a story that has a lot of emotional depth and conveys a certain level of truth. We want to read stories that make us feel a range of emotions such as enlightened, contemplative, entertained, disturbed, irritated, sad, inspired, or ideally, a combination of them all.
What Gabby & Min DOES NOT Want:
We are against stories that depict gratuitous violence. We will not tolerate sexism, racism, ageism, or any other forms of intolerance. However, it is possible to reveal a character through their prejudices, but it should not be used to reinforce negative stereotypes or ignorance; the world already has enough of it.
